The SBC first ever "Ducky Arcade" was held at Herman's Lost Slough. The colorful little floating duckys were the hit of the weekend along with the duck beaks (bills?) adorned on the faces of the brave enough to wear them. Brian and Herman humbly volunteered to be the sitting ducks adorning head gear targets and duck bills and "egging" the members on to take pot shots at them with their water guns.   "Daffy Duck" would have been proud!

The weather was so hot that the birds had to use potholder to pull worms out of the ground and the SBC members floated in the cool waters of the delta with only their heads above the surface.

A good old fashion American tradition of hot dogs on a bun were consumed on Saturday with all the traditional accompaniments along with cold refreshing beer in a keg. The raftout was just the right size for comraderie, fun, and a "quack up" of a weekend.

It was another "just ducky" weekend for the Sacramento Bayliner Club.

Sea Ya next month...
